On Friday, November 5th from 10:00 am - 11:30 am, the Cascadia GBC
Vancouver Island Branch is hosting a Green Skyline building tour of 800
Yates Street, the Atrium Building in Downtown Victoria. This impressive
new office building submitted for LEED-Gold standard to the Canada Green
Building Council. The building tour will be conducted by
representatives from the LEED submission specialist (ADVICAS
Consultants), the architects (D'Ambrosio Architects), and the building
owner (Jawl Properties). Pre-registration is required through
www.cascadiagbc.org.
In conjunction with the Green Skyline tour, the Cascadia GBC
Vancouver Island Branch Emerging Professionals and Jawl Properties are
opening an art exhibition with eight artists on the theme of
sustainability in the Atrium Building lobby on Friday, November 5th at
11:30 am. The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday,
November 5th to 4 pm Sunday, November 7th.
Cost: Cascadia members / students: Free. Non-members: $5
